Wednesday WIPs

Wednesday Works in Progress... hmmmm.  I really don't have much to report here.  I crocheted about four or five inches of camel colored yarn onto my pretty blue afghan and it just didn't look right.  It was looking more like a trapezoid than a rectangle,  so I ended up ripping out all of the camel and about two inches of the blue. And that's where I left it. I will pick it up again, but darn it's hard to get right back into it when you have to rip that much out!

I started cleaning out the front flower beds. By this time of the year the lawn has usually been mowed once, the flower beds have been raked out and have new mulch and we are getting ready to plant the vegetable garden. But this year is not normal... it has been so cold and rainy that outdoor work has been nearly impossible. I had the front beds weeded and ready for mulch and then the rains came and  made that impossible.  Now they have to be weeded again... sigh.

I painted the other little birdhouse that I told you about.  (Sorry about the picture quality but I had to use my flash.) As I'm looking at this I think I need to fancy up the sides of the house... that just might be on my WIP page next week!

As I said, not much has gotten done in the WIP department, but hopefully things are getting back to normal and I'll have more to report next week.  How about you?  Have you finished, or made progress on, any of your Works in Progress?
